The Abshers have agreed to come and teach
Located at El Venado campsite in Anthony Chabot Regional Park
This is a nicely secluded area in the Oakland hills, though once you get off the road through the winding forested bits, you're minutes away from Berkeley, Oakland, and even San Francisico (not to mention Walnut Creek and San Leandro). There are trails around for those interested in hiking, including one with a wonderful view of Lake Chabot in the valley below.
The campsite is equivalent in amenities to the Tilden site we usually get (i.e., facilities for cooking and personal relief. Sauna and tanning booths will be sadly lacking). We'll be providing breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and supper on Saturday. Registration fees depend on the number of people who come, but would be around $125 per Kojosho student. If you might have family members in tow, let me know.
Please pass this along to anyone you've ever met in your life who might be interested in coming. Any questions can be directed to me at kcober1961@att.net. Please let me know if you'll be coming!
